Francisco Villa West is a residential neighborhood inland from the Hotel Zone, popular with long-term local families and increasingly with renters looking for lower prices than the beach-adjacent zones. It's car-dependent but well served by everyday shopping, with the western half sitting closer to the main commercial corridors. Expect more local character and fewer English-speaking neighbors than the tourist zones.
